Leadership development for global tech company
Insight
Our client saw an opportunity to build a global leadership programme which would create consistent and industry-leading standards across their international operations.
They believed this would give them a pipeline of future MDs and COOs, as well as supporting their long-term acquisition and growth.
Solution
We first ran the programme in 2022 and are now in the middle of our third cohort. Working with the Directors and the HR Vice President we identified the key components of a 9-month programme, distilled into the key headings of Leading Me, Leading Others and Leading the Business.
With attendees coming from Europe, North America and Canada the programme is delivered face to face in 3 modules of one week each.
Each of the three weeks is an intensive, hard-working blend of applied learning, participative discussion, self-discovery, practice, coaching and feedback. They’re all highly interactive and lots of fun. (Monty Python has a lot to answer for!)
It’s great to see people who’ve often not met before establish immense trust in each other and flourish. Relationships and coaching pairs established here live on beyond the programme; and are cherished.
Outcome
The first programme ran as a pilot, and the results have been so good we’re now planning year 4. Attendee feedback is incredibly positive, with comments such as “the single most impactful leadership development programme I have attended” and “the journey has been priceless”
Equally as important, the business impact is positive, with a number of participants being promoted to COO, MD and business unit leader positions.
